On October 25, Soft Science, a professional institution for higher education evaluation, released the "2021 Soft Science China's best Disciplines Ranking". The discipline of mechanical engineering in our hospital ranks among the top 10% in China, and it is the only discipline in Hebei Province that ranks among the top 10%.

The ranking includes 96 first-level disciplines. Each discipline ranking is for all universities with academic graduate degree programs in the first-level discipline, and the top 50% of universities in the discipline are published. A total of 4992 subjects from 486 universities were included in the ranking, with 13 subjects from Yanshan University.
