With the support of the Development and Reform Commission of Hebei Province and the approval of the National Development and Reform Commission, the "Hebei Advanced Manufacturing Forming Technology and Equipment (Industry) Engineering Research Center" of Yanshan University is named as the "National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Advanced Manufacturing Forming Technology and Equipment" (hereinafter referred to as the "Engineering Center"), and is included in the establishment project of the National Development and Reform Commission.

Relying on the disciplines of material processing engineering and mechanical and electronic engineering, the "Engineering Center" is committed to the research and development of advanced forming common technologies and the industrialization of process equipment, training engineering technology research and management talents, and providing technology development and achievement engineering experiments and consulting services for regions and industries.
