报告人简介:

   Yunhong Jiang 是英国诺森比亚大学校长特聘研究员,博士生导师。 主要研究领域和研究方向,重点开展金属纳米材料基础科学研究与应用技术创新,特别是功能纳米颗粒的合成及表征、新型先进纳米复合金属材料快速凝固和加工-结构-性能关系、高效功能性金属纳米材料的多孔材料与表面改性、基于高分子自组装的纳米生物催化,以及基于生物技术改性的大分子多功能金属多功能材料在医疗和建筑领域的应用。最新研究方向包括了增材制造和机器学习在纳米结构金属材料设计领域的研究和应用,详细研究纳米/超纳米结构与材料力学性能的内在联系。主要完成欧盟和英国工程和物理科学基金会等科研项目8项,发表SCI收录论文37篇,专著3部,他引1500多次,担任国际学术会议主席和分会主席2次,国际会议报告16次,国际期刊审稿人39次。现任Academic Journal of Engineering ScienceCurrent Trends in Civil and Structural Engineering编委,英国皇家化学学会成员,英国生物学会成员。担任国际学术期刊杂志评审人包括Applied Catalysis B EnvironmentalColloids and Surfaces B BiointerfacesComposites Part A: Applied Science and ManufacturingNew Journal of ChemistryScience of the Total EnvironmentCarbohydrate Polymers等,并被Composite Part A 杂志评为2017年最佳审稿人。


报告内容简介:

With the development of Nanotechnology, nanomaterials have become one of the most promising topics in different fields, such as physics, chemistry, engineering, and biology. It has the potential for revolutionizing the ways in which materials and products are created and the range and nature of functionalities that can be accessed. It is well known that the phases, sizes, and morphologies of nanomaterials have great influence on their properties and potential applications; thereby, the controlled synthesis of nanostructured materials with novel morphologies has recently received much attention. These online lectures will provide a brief introduction on the general aspect of nanomaterials and their applications. The different synthesis methods of nanomaterials will also be discussed in these online lectures. The use of nanomaterials in novel systems and devices arising from the development of nanomaterials and technology will be considered. Ethical, societal, and environmental issues will be discussed. The outcomes of these lectures are to provide the understanding of the physical and chemical principles underpinning materials synthesis, understanding the design and capabilities of material processing techniques, understanding the principles, applications and limitations of advanced materials characterization techniques.
