报告内容简介:
This lecture summarizes some application results, on the formulation and numerical implementation of embedded strong discontinuity approach (ESDA). For this purpose, a three-dimensional methodology to model reinforced composite materials is presented. In where the concept of mixture theory is used to represent its material behavior, which is constituted by a matrix and multiple long fibers in different directions. The composite material failure is determined by the discontinuous bifurcation analysis, in function of the eigenvalues of the composite acoustic tensor. Finally, the applicability of ESDA as well as, its numerical performance is illustrated by means of fully three-dimensional ultimate load analyses.
